We had the privilege of speaking with Sarah Lavin as we race towards the 2024 Paris Olympics ? Tipperary Crystal are the proud gift supplier of the Irish Olympic team this year, and we wish the best to Sarah and the Irish team!

Getting to see a dream being realized that I've had since I was seven is incredible. So many people needed to be part of that journey to make it happen. To have that moment where everyone is there and gets to share in the excitement is truly special. Sonia, obviously, was our last medal winner on the track in Sydney in 2000. We've had just amazing female athletes. It's amazing that Tipperary Crystal has come on board and that I can collaborate with them.

As a female athlete, there are often stereotypes, but to be associated with a brand that allows me to maintain that natural female energy, elegance, and poise as a sportswoman is a real privilege.

Advice to aspiring athletes:

"Aspiring athletes, realize that it's possible. It takes a lot of hard work, and there are setbacks for everyone along the way. Don't get too knocked down by them. Enjoy it all, enjoy the friendships and the places you get to travel. Sport is so spiky. The highs are really high, and the lows can really hurt you, but when you incorporate the real enjoyment, which is the people you're sharing this journey with, I think that's what I would advise."
